Hardware Development Engineer

Hardware Development Engineer | Ashdod, Central District | IAI – ELTA Systems

We are looking for a Hardware Development Engineer to join ELTA Systems at IAI.

The position includes:

• Designing servo systems for radar applications
• Managing engineering projects from technical definition to testing and delivery
• Planning and managing development schedules
• Writing specifications in collaboration with relevant teams (motors, position sensors, slip rings, etc.)
• Designing cabling and electrical schematics
• Providing professional support for projects in Israel and abroad
• Participating in system development from initial design to system integration and testing
• Collaborating with mechanical, software, and hardware teams
• Leading integration activities at ELTA and customer sites with radar systems
• Managing and supervising subcontractors in Israel and abroad, including engineering documentation and technical discussions with manufacturers

What we are looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required
• Specialization in control systems – advantage
• Strong professional leadership and team motivation skills
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) – required
• Willingness to travel abroad when required
