AI Researcher

An innovative startup operating at the intersection of Cyber, Data, and AI, developing a dedicated Data platform for Security teams focused on advanced challenges in cyber information analysis using LLMs.

The company is based in Tel Aviv within walking distance of the train, works from the office, and has 20 employees.

Founded by three alumni of elite technology units, the company is currently in stealth mode and has recently closed an $8.5M Seed round from a leading Israeli VC.

This is the company’s first research function, responsible for selecting architectures, introducing technological innovation, and integrating LLM capabilities into the product. The platform serves large B2B companies (1,500+ employees) to optimize security analysis, permission management, and other security-related tasks using agents and AI.

The role combines reading academic papers, selecting tools and methodologies, and offers significant influence on product direction, with ample opportunity for growth and increased responsibility alongside the company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead research and development of LLM- and AI-based solutions on cyber data
• End-to-end development of Agentic Workflows
• Build Benchmarking Frameworks for evaluating models and solutions
• Own the design and deployment of scalable production solutions
• Define research processes within the team and streamline the transition from open ideas to production-ready implementation
• Work closely with Product and R&D teams to align solutions with business needs
• Introduce technological innovation and integrate LLM capabilities into the platform
• Influence product direction and strategic decisions based on research findings
• Key Technologies: LLM, Agentic Workflows, Python, Transformers, HuggingFace, Cybersecurity Data, SaaS, Production AI, NLP, Benchmarking, Research-to-Production

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Science or ML, preferably more
• Experience in Cybersecurity and/or implementing NLP/LLM solutions
• Outstanding academic or professional background – degree from a leading university and/or elite technology unit service
• Hands-on research experience – reading academic papers, developing solutions, introducing innovations
