NPI & Configuration Engineer

A growing technology company is looking for an experienced NPI & Configuration Engineer to join the engineering team and play a key role bridging development and production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead NPI processes and ensure smooth transition from R&D to production.
• Create and manage BOMs, engineering changes (ECOs), drawings, specifications, work instructions, and documentation in PLM systems.
• Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal interfaces (R&D, procurement, quality, production, logistics).
• Support engineering tests, problem-solving, and root cause analysis during production.
• Ensure compliance with design and quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other relevant technical education.
• 2–5 years of experience in NPI, configuration management, or product engineering.
• Experience with BOM management and ECO processes.
• Hands-on experience with PLM systems.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to read technical drawings/specifications.
• High-level English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers in Israel and abroad.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC610).
• Experience with PLM tools such as Agile, Teamcenter, Windchill, or Arena.
