Head of Mechanical Design Department – Guided Munitions | Yehud, Central District | IAI – Missiles & Space Division

We are looking for a Head of Mechanical Design Department to join the Engineering & Systems plant at IAI’s Missiles & Space Division, leading the mechanical design of guided munitions in the airborne systems domain.

The position includes:

• Leading projects in the field of airborne systems.
• Managing and mentoring a team of engineers, responsible for development, production support, and testing of guided munitions.
• Mechanical development and design for precision-guided munitions.
• Matrix management of contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Reporting directly to the Head of the Airborne Systems Division.

What we are looking for:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Aerodynamics – required
• M.Sc. – advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design – required
• Experience with CAD software – required
• Management experience – advantage
• Experience in mechanical design of aircraft structures, missiles, UAVs – advantage
• Experience with internal combustion, jet, or rocket engines – advantage
• Experience in integrating multidisciplinary products/systems – advantage
• Experience in leading projects – advantage
• High-level English (speaking, reading, writing)
