Machine Learning Engineer

A Cyber Security startup developing a cutting-edge defensive Cyber Security product. The company is a pioneer in its field and is already in the deployment phase with a Design Partner.

Based in Tel Aviv near the light rail, the company has 20 employees (mostly in R&D), offers one work-from-home day per week, and is experiencing significant growth.

The company has completed a major Seed round led by a top global VC, alongside strategic private investors, including well-known industry figures.

Role Responsibilities-

• Work as part of a team focused on ML/DL with an emphasis on production
• Split responsibilities approximately 50/50 between model training/AI architectures and deployment to production, including MLOps
• Participate in the development and implementation of advanced ML models at scale in production
• High-level coding primarily in Python and Go
• Implement and manage ML workflows including model evaluation, A/B testing, experimentation, monitoring, batch and real-time pipelines, and deployment automation
• Collaborate in a startup environment where team members handle a wide range of responsibilities with a strong engineering focus

Qualifications-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in production - Must
• Strong Python skills; hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, CatBoost, PyTorch, or Transformers
• Deep understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies
• Experience deploying ML systems in cloud-native environments (preferably GCP with Kubernetes/GKE)
• Familiarity with PySpark for large-scale data processing
• Comfortable working with backend or infrastructure tooling; experience with Go is a strong plus
