Silentium is seeking an Acoustics and Audio Application Engineer to play a crucial role in

implementing and delivery of Silentium current and next generation products to carline programs.

Job Description

The Active Acoustics Engineer will be located in Germany, Munich.

The Essential Duties And Responsibilities Of

this position are the following:

• Responsible for applying Silentium’s Active Acoustics technologies
• Responsible for NVH data measurement & post-processing
• Responsible for Active NVH technologies tunings
• Responsible for car audio/infotainment vehicle integration into customer’s vehicle
• Responsible for defining/coordinating/implementing technical requests into technical
  
  

• Prepare & present technical presentations of the performance of Silentium’s Active
  
  

• Be the Silentium “face” to the customer: addressing technical needs and promoting
  
  

• Noise, Vibration & Harshness Measurements using NVH Data Acquisition Systems
• Acoustics & Audio systems, understanding of loudspeaker and car audio systems
• MIMO Signal Processing, MIMO adaptive filtering will be an advantage
• Matlab coding
• Business savvy
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Physics, Math or related field – a must. MSc in
  
  

• Proven hands-on experience in system validation planning and system performance analysis
  
  

• Experience in the automotive industry (3 year minimum).
• Experience in acoustics and audio systems.
• Team player and able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize ongoing projects.
• Willingness to travel in Europe and abroad – for short and long periods
