Global AI Tech Lead

About the Role

We’re looking for a GenAI Tech Lead to join our dynamic Engineering team and take end-to-end ownership of the Candidate AI service at myInterview. In this role, you'll drive the daily operations, technical vision, and innovation of AI-powered applications that redefine how candidates engage with our platform.

As the bridge between Engineering and Data Science, you’ll lead architectural decisions, champion best practices, and ensure our AI services are secure, scalable, and cutting-edge.

What You’ll DoAI & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of intelligent, LLM-powered agents integrated into user-facing applications.
• Define architecture and best practices for model serving, memory/persistence, and orchestration of multi-turn agent interactions.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to align priorities and deliver innovative AI solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI/LLM capabilities (e.g., function calling, RAG, tool usage) and assess real-world applicability.
• Drive performance, reliability, and secure development through code reviews, experimentation, and CI/CD process oversight.

Strategic Planning & Operations

• Partner with Engineering Managers (EMs) and Product Owners (POs) to contribute to technical roadmap planning and risk mitigation.
• Monitor team spending and evaluate the financial impact of technical decisions.
• Coordinate operational tasks like planned maintenance and incident management in alignment with company policies.

Architecture & Quality Management

• Own the technical vision of your services portfolio, ensuring alignment with myInterview's architecture standards and evolving business needs.
• Lead incident response efforts and assess the impact of proposed changes within your domain.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployments align with AWS best practices and myInterview policies.

People & Resource Leadership

• Conduct regular 1:1s, provide mentorship, and ensure your team has the knowledge, tools, and resources to succeed.
• Support onboarding of new team members and foster a high-performance culture of collaboration and innovation.

Compliance, Security & Documentation

• Develop software in line with myInterview development and hosting standards.
• Track and report deviations, technical debt, and security issues as required.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation covering domain design, architecture, and operating procedures.

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex AI or LLM-based applications in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), modern DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
• A proactive mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
