As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Spot's and Flexera's Core Platform applications using Java, Go, and related technologies. You will work closely with technology leaders and a team of experienced developers, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud-based development while being part of a talented and fun team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Spot | Flexera Core Platform applications using Java, Go, and related technologies, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of software applications to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  
  

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# programming languages and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with billing systems, security and identity solutions, with a focus on authentication and authorization methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services.
• Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins & Terraform.
