Senior Security Researcher

Ultra Red is a leading Israeli cybersecurity company, bringing together top-tier security researchers and software developers to build cutting-edge products in the cyber realm.

We are looking for a passionate Senior Security Researcher with strong Python skills to join our R&D team.

In this role, you will:

• Research and detect vulnerabilities across a wide range of targets (e.g., websites, Windows/Linux/Mac systems, routers, printers, mobile devices, IoT, and SCADA environments).
• Develop advanced Proof-of-Concept (PoC) exploits.
• Seamlessly integrate these PoCs into our platform, directly shaping the product’s capabilities and impact.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years in a red team
• Experience with a wide range of target types which are not solely web \ application oriented
• Actual hands on penetration testing experience with tools such as burp and nuclei
• Possess deep expertise in a wide range of vulnerability classes, both client-side and server-side, demonstrating full proficiency in their intricate technical details.
• 2+ years of software development experience with 1+ years experience with Python
• Experience writing new PoC code for exploits and adapting existing ones
• Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (ARP, IPv4/v6, ICMP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, BGP)
• Independent, creative and self-motivated team player with passion for constant learning and improvement
• Good English (reading and writing)
