Senior Technical Project Manager

XM Cyber is the leader in hybrid-cloud security posture management, using the attacker’s perspective to find and remediate critical attack paths across on-premises and multi-cloud networks.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic software company. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional R&D teams to deliver software projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, technical understanding and the ability to drive successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software projects, preferred in SaaS and cloud environments and fostering collaboration among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues to ensure project goals are met
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to key stakeholders and senior management
• Foster collaboration and communication among project team members to drive project success
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, support and product to achieve project milestones
• Provide guidance and mentorship to R&D managers and team members
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a software company, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing software projects
• Experience as a software developer - strong advantage
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks
• Familiarity with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies and big-data pipelines - advantage
• Experience working with JIRA framework - Must
• Experience with AI related technologies - Advantage
