A well-established global leader in state-of-the-art medical device development and manufacturing based in Israel is looking for a highly motivated and creative Mechanical Engineer for the R&D department.

◾ Responsibilities:

• Design new medical products as part of the R&D department

• Define devices' requirements and specifications based on multiple stakeholders' inputs – technical specifications, usability specifications, and regulatory specifications

• Prototype, build, and improve designs utilizing clinical personnel feedback throughout the design process

• Work with a wide variety of technologies – a wide variety of machining options (5-axis CNC to Swiss-type lathing), 3D Printing, PIM/MIM, and many more technologies available in-house during products' early stages

• Lead R&D projects from kickoff to mass production

• Plan and perform design validation activities

• Support regulatory activities – Validations, testing

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver market-ready products

• Create and maintain R&D action dictated by procedural development design control – DHF, RMR

• Participate in the production process flow setup

• Work in a well-regulated and standardized medical environment: ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 24971

◾ Qualifications:

• Mechanical engineering degree – B.Sc./M.Sc

• At least 4 years of proven experience in R&D positions

• Experience in manufacturing technologies and processes

• Experience in the medical devices industry – an advantage

• Experience in formulating, planning, ing, and conducting tests

• Strong written and verbal communication skills – Hebrew and English

• Hands-on approach
