Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer (AWS)

MyMuni is building a next-generation digital environment for municipal, governmental, and financial services in Israel.

We are creating a unified platform that includes digital identity (Passkeys, USID/ASID), an event-driven service architecture, municipal service onboarding.

We are forming a core engineering team and looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer who can design, build, and maintain a reliable AWS-based infrastructure for our MVP and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS/Postgres, etc.)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Containerization and environment orchestration
• Manage Dev/Stage/Prod environments
• Implement Terraform or AWS CDK IaC
• Set up monitoring, logging, and operational dashboards
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability
• Collaborate closely with backend/frontend engineers

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (networking, compute, security, storage)
• Proficiency with Terraform or AWS CDK
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Solid CI/CD skills (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Familiarity with distributed systems and modern cloud architectures
• Required: fluent Russian
• Bonus: Kubernetes experience, infrastructure security background, startup experience
