Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Senior Infra Engineer to join our Infrastructure team (Proxit) – the team that powers all of Nimble’s products. Proxit supports both our in-house development teams and our B2B customers, which is why we operate at massive scale, handling more than 20K requests per second (RPS) and solving some of the toughest infrastructure challenges. Responsibilities

• Design and develop ultra-scalable, distributed systems capable of handling massive workloads.
• Architect and implement multi-cloud infrastructures while optimizing for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Build and maintain systems using cutting-edge technologies: Go, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Sqlite, Docker, gRPC, WebSockets, Microservices, Cron Jobs, OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate closely with AI, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver complex proxy and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust end-to-end tests in Python.
  
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering, preferably in high-scale distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Go – a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization (locks, routines, etc.).
• Proven experience with scale-related challenges such as memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed system architectures.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), including MongoDB, Redis, Sqlite, or equivalents.
• Experience with Docker, gRPC, WebSockets, Microservices, Cron Jobs, and OpenTelemetry.
• Excellent debugging skills for complex, high-scale environments.
• Ability to work independently and drive solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for solving large-scale challenges and working with cutting-edge technologies.
