About the role

We're looking for an experienced and self-driven R&D Operations Lead to join our growing team.

As an R&D Operations lead, you will work closely with our R&D team leaders and Squads leads and collaborate with Product and Engineering, mid and upper management to ensure alignment with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals. You will build a small team of TPMs (Technical project managers) that will be assigned to specific squads.

As an R&D Operations Lead, you will be pivotal in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our R&D initiatives

Your leadership will be critical in streamlining processes, enhancing collaboration, and accelerating product delivery across our R&D organization.

What will you do

• Lead end-to-end (E2E) cross-R&D initiatives, encompassing planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation
• Drive and facilitate quarterly roadmap planning, ensuring effective tracking of scope progress and managing changes
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Development Leads, and Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to optimize scrum practices and leverage Jira for robust project management
• Champion continuous improvement within R&D, evolving methodologies, defining procedures, selecting tools, and optimizing program management strategies
• Establish, monitor, and analyze R&D Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), building comprehensive dashboards to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvements
• Organize and lead project status and working meetings, ensuring clear and transparent communication of project progress, and proactively identifying and resolving conflicts
  
  

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master - Required
• 5+ years of proven Program Management experience, specifically leading cross-company initiatives within R&D-oriented organizations, with expertise in Agile methodologies at scale - Required
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Flexible thinking and quick adaptation to changes
• Experience leading a Technical Project Manager (TPM) team - Advantage
• Proficiency in OKR methodology and/or KPI setting
• Experience with AI tools, creating agents, and automating processes
• Proficiency with Jira, including leveraging the Atlassian ecosystem; experience with advanced Roadmap Structures - Advantage
• Ability to perform problem troubleshooting and find quick solutions
• High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• High proficiency in data analysis, tools like looker - advantage
