To support this growth, we are hiring a Financial Controller to own our finance function end-to-end. This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, stability, and efficiency across all client billing, internal payments, and reporting.

Responsibilities

As Financial Controller, you will own the full finance function, including:

Client Billing & Collections

• Manage and oversee monthly billing for all clients (Stripe, Payoneer, bank transfers).
• Reconcile payments, flag unpaid or paused clients, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Process refunds and cancel recurring payment links for paused clients.

Team & Contractor Payments

• Pay VAs, freelancers, and team members on time each cycle.
• Prepare and track commissions for Client Success Managers and the sales team.

Banking & Records

• Track and reconcile all income against bank statements.
• Record client information and ensure all new clients are accurately added to the system.
• Maintain finance trackers and master sheets as the single source of truth.

Reporting & Forecasting

• Provide leadership with financial insights to guide decision-making.
• Build and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility of revenue, churn, and retention.

Compliance & Controls

• Support accountants with bookkeeping.
• Implement QA processes to ensure accuracy in all financial operations.
• Refine SOPs to ensure scalability as the company grows.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvements.
• Oversee and delegate to two finance Virtual Assistants handling day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and international payments.
• Hands-on experience with tools like QuickBooks, Stripe, Smartsheet, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and delegate to support staff.
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
