Senior Frontend Engineer – B2C Wellness Product

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the user-facing experience of our wellness platform. You care about pixels and performance, and you believe great UX starts with great engineering. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design to craft responsive, accessible, high-quality applications used by thousands.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
   
• Own implementation of pixel-perfect interfaces, taking wireframes and visual designs from our design team and translating them into elegant, functional experiences.
   
• Ensure consistent user experience across devices and screen sizes, with a strong focus on responsive design and performance.
   
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to build intuitive and scalable features.
   
• Take full ownership of your work - from development and testing to deployment and monitoring.
   
• Be a domain expert in frontend development, while also contributing to occasional full-stack tasks using Python when needed.
   
• Continuously improve our frontend architecture and code quality by participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
   
• Leverage modern AI-powered tools throughout the development lifecycle - from code generation and testing to workflow automation.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building modern web applications.
   
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, plus a deep understanding of responsive design and cross-browser behavior.
  
   
• Deep understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
   
• Proven experience optimizing for performance and scalability, with a strong UX mindset and attention to detail.
   
• Proven, real-world experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Copilot, or equivalent) as part of your production workflow (code generation, tests, refactors, automation).
   
• Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with high standards for product quality.
   
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Experience with design systems at scale (foundations, components, documentation).
   
• Hands-on experience with Storybook for component documentation, building and testing UI components in isolation, and supporting a scalable design system.
   
• Background in B2C, wellness/health, or accessibility standards.
