Director Quality & Regulatory Affairs

We are seeking a senior VP of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs to lead our global regulatory strategy and oversee all quality and food safety systems

Responsibilities:

•Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of regulatory submissions, with a primary focus on GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) dossiers.

•Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with global standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).

•Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, including the FDA, EFSA, and others.

•Provide strategic guidance to management on the evolving regulatory landscape for novel foods and cultivated meat.

•Ensure product compliance with all international food safety, quality, and labeling standards.

•Lead readiness for all regulatory inspections and audits.

Requirements:

•M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Food Science, Biotechnology, Toxicology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

•5+ years of senior experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance within the food, ingredient, or biotech sector.

•In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including FDA and/or USDA regulations.

•Excellent leadership, project management , and communication skills in English.

•Experience with GRAS dossier submission is a significant plus.

•A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
