Hybrid Tel Aviv Full-time | Cybersecurity Startup | Tier 3+ Support

A fast-growing, VC-backed cybersecurity startup that is redefining network protection through agentless micro segmentation and identity-based access control is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer

With a flat, transparent, and non-bureaucratic culture, the team is scaling rapidly across the U.S., Europe, and Israel.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our global support team—from our offices in Tel Aviv. You’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical issues for enterprise clients, with direct access to R&D and Product teams. This is a high-impact, Tier 3+ role where you’ll play a key part in shaping a world-class support function during a critical growth phase.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced (Tier 3+) technical issues for enterprise clients
- Handle 90% post-sale and 10% pre-sale support cases
- Work closely with R&D and Product to resolve platform-level challenges
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and escalation point
- Help define processes, metrics, and best practices for global support
- Provide clear, empathetic, and proactive communication with clients
- Operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, startup setting
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical support, ideally within SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise software environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in remote or hybrid work environments with strong self-management capabilities.
Operating Systems & Scripting:
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows environments.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with Bash scripting is a plus.
Networking Knowledge:
- Strong foundational understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
- TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, NAT, VPNs, subnetting, etc.
- OSI Model troubleshooting and packet flow analysis.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, nmap, and similar.
Network Devices & Infrastructure:
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking equipment including:
- Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet)
- Routers, switches, and load balancers
Security & Protocols:
- Knowledge of security protocols and systems, such as:
- SSL/TLS, IPSec, PKI, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth)
- Exposure to SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, or cloud-based security platforms.
Cloud Networking (Preferred but Not Required):
- Experience with networking concepts in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (e.g., VPC configuration, security groups, routing, peering)
