High-Tech Company is looking for a motivated Security Compliance Officer to join our team and support the company’s compliance, governance, and risk management efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in the field of security compliance. You will work closely with Security, IT, Legal, and Operations teams to strengthen the company’s compliance posture, support certification processes (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and promote a culture of accountability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including evidence collection and tracking remediation.
- Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and certifications.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company practices remain up to date.
- Assist with vendor risk management and third-party compliance reviews.
- Support RFI/RFP responses with accurate compliance information.
- Provide compliance training and awareness programs across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Legal, HR, Operations).
- Track and report compliance activities, risks, and KPIs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, audit, information security, or risk management (SaaS environment preferred).
- Hands-on experience with audits and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Familiarity with GRC platforms for compliance management.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and cloud security practices.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
