BMC Helix is seeking an experienced product developer for AI/ML. As a developer in this team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI and machine learning models into our products and services. This role involves collaborating with other teams, refining AI/ML solutions, and contributing to the organization's innovation through AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities Include

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java and/or Python software applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Developing and implementing software solutions that leverage GPT, LLM, and conversational AI technologies.
• Integrating GPT and LLM models into the software architecture to enable natural language understanding and generation.
• Developing conversational AI systems and chatbots that provide intuitive and human-like interactions.
• Implementing and maintaining APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration of conversational AI functionality into existing applications.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure the software applications' quality, reliability, and security.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in GPT, LLM, and conversational AI technologies and proposing innovative solutions and improvements.
• Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize features and enhancements.
  
  

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 5+ years of overall experience
• Ability to write robust code in Java and/or Python
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
• Hands-on experience in building microservices-based applications
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and designing Software as a Service (SaaS) multi-tenant applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their associated services
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) using Java
• Relevant academic degree
  
  

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases like Redis or Elasticsearch and experience with data modeling for microservices.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
