Position: Physics Expert (PhD)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $70–$85/hour (based on expertise and location)

Location: Remote

Duration: 1–2 months (with potential extension)

Commitment: ~20 hours/week (flexible; potential up to 40 hours/week)

Role Responsibilities

• Create and assess complex physics problems across subdomains including classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical physics, and relativity.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, mathematical rigor, and domain relevance.
• Provide clear written feedback on problem sets, solutions, and reasoning steps.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.
• Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and academic precision in all physics content used to train or evaluate AI systems.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics from a top university.
• Deep subject-matter expertise across core areas of physics.
• Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior teaching, research, or publication experience is a strong plus.
