Multimedia and IT Systems Manager - 3536

A leading scientific organization in Rehovot is seeking a Multimedia and IT Systems Manager

Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of media, display, and sound systems in auditoriums and classrooms, including lecture recordings
• Operating equipment for recording, photography, broadcasting, and archiving academic content
• Supporting remote learning systems (Zoom, Panopto, etc.), including integration with Moodle
• Defining and developing technological/computing solutions for multimedia and lecture recording needs
• Integrating multimedia systems with campus IT infrastructure
• Providing ongoing helpdesk services and training for students, postdocs, faculty, and guests
• Providing technological support during conferences, seminars, and hybrid/in-person events
• Managing and maintaining computers, networks, and servers, including licensing and updates
• Training faculty and school staff
• Working with various internal departments and interfaces

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technological field – an advantage
• At least three years of experience in a similar role in an academic/high-tech/public institution – required
• Full proficiency with Windows and Mac OS environments, advanced video and audio systems – required
• Good command of Office 365, Zoom, OBS, LMS systems, and screen-sharing tools – required
• System-level understanding of IT infrastructure and ability to troubleshoot at both user and server levels – required
• Experience with photography, lighting, audio equipment, and video editing (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci) – significant advantage
• Familiarity with hybrid event management systems – significant advantage
• Knowledge of AV system integration with control and monitoring systems – significant advantage
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
