Engineering Project Manager - Temporary Position for 12 month

Leading, coordinating, and managing complex engineering projects in the fields of electromechanics, electricity, and construction infrastructure, with a primary focus on the planning and construction of a data center. The role includes managing planning and execution phases, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring budget and timeline control, and supervising quality and safety implementation.

What your job will look like:

• Manage projects end-to-end – from requirements definition to full delivery.
• Plan and control – build work plans, manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and handle risks.
• Budget management – monitor, report, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Coordinate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, BMS, construction), IT, safety, procurement, and external suppliers.
• Supervise contractors’ work on-site, ensuring compliance with schedules, standards, and safety.
• Manage procurement processes – prepare technical specs, assist with RFPs, review proposals.
• Identify and mitigate risks, provide engineering solutions in real-time.
• Prepare project status reports and present progress to management.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance with regulations and standards.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in managing complex engineering projects in electromechanical, electrical, and construction systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million budgets, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and coordinate suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of electromechanical systems, low/high-voltage, HVAC, water, and construction infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Office, advanced Excel, project management software (MS Project/Primavera), and basic AutoCAD.
• Hebrew – native, English – high proficiency (spoken, reading, technical writing).
• Excellent communication, assertiveness, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, systemic thinking, and proactive decision-making.
• Familiarity with Data Center systems, BMS, energy systems, and critical infrastructure projects - Advantage.
