Global Operation Analyst

We are looking for a Global Operation Analyst who will handle the following:

• ZIM Vessels performance monitoring and fuel consumption analysis
• Assistance to BU operations with advanced analysis.
• Operation data validations
• Designing and developing analysis tools in Dataiku and Tableau.
• Geneal ad-hoc analysis given by Global Operation Manager and GOC Manager

Major areas of responsibility

Vessel performance analysis

• Monitoring and analyzing all ZIM fleet vessel performance: Fuel consumption, KPI’s, speed analysis, actual vs. proforma analysis.
• Perform full vessel performance study by request of Global Operation Manager /GOC Manager, SMD, Chartering, BU.

Data analysis assistance to BU ops

• Monitoring and analyzing BU ops fuel consumption and port performance
• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis

Operation Data Validation

• Build supportive tools (Dataiku/Tableau/Excel) for validation of data from vessels, terminals and other sources.
• Monitor data validations and enforce correction process by BU ops.

Develop and maintain supportive BI tools

• Define and develop supportive Dataiku/Tableau tools for vessel performance and BU ops.

GOC ad-hoc analysis tasks

• Perform ad-hoc operation data analysis by Global Operation Manager.

GOC general tasks

• GOC updates to all company units.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Industrial Engineering & Management
• Very strong analytical skills and 3+ years of experience in similar role – a must
• Very strong Excel skills (power pivot, power query, advanced functions) – a must.
• BI tools (Dataiku/Tableau) – an advantage
• Python, SQL – an advantage
• Fluency in English (writing, reading, speaking)
