Tech Lead

We’re on the lookout for a Tech Lead to join a rapidly growing startup in the E-commerce world—freshly backed by top-tier investors and scaling at lightning speed.

You’ll collaborate directly with product, design, and engineering leaders, reporting directly to the VP of R&D. You will work with strategic customers and have a direct influence on the future of the platform and culture.

What You’ll Do

• Drive cross-team technical initiatives that push their infrastructure and architecture to the next level.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and future-proof systems.
• Get hands-on across frontend (React/Angular) and backend (Node.js, NestJS), leading by example.
• Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.
• Mentor and inspire engineers, helping them excel while strengthening the engineering culture.
• Remove bottlenecks and accelerate developer productivity.
• Play a key role in shaping the technical roadmap and architecture vision.
• Build cutting-edge solutions that power e-commerce experiences for thousands of merchants and users.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of software engineering with major contributions to production systems.
• Deep experience in both frontend and backend development (Angular/React + Node.js/NestJS).
• Strong background in microservices, databases, queues, and scalable systems.
• Proven expertise in system design and architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and Kubernetes.
• Passion for improving engineering workflows and driving productivity.
• An AI-first mindset and curiosity to experiment with the latest technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• A track record of leading cross-functional projects end-to-end.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in high-growth startup environments.
• Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or developer tools.
• Familiarity with observability (OpenTelemetry) and performance profiling.
