Bank Leumi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our data science team and shape the future of banking with cutting-edge AI solutions. This hands-on role combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, driving the development and deployment of next-generation Generative AI applications at scale.

As part of our team, you will design and optimize advanced RAG pipelines, integrate multi-agent systems, and leverage AWS services to deliver impactful AI products used daily by millions of customers.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product leaders to transform complex challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions, making a direct impact on the banking and fintech ecosystem.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development with a focus on AI/ML
• Proven experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack)
• Expertise in AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, Lambda, Bedrock)
• Practical knowledge of RAG applications and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

Not mandatory but nice to have: Experience in fintech or highly regulated industries, familiarity with graph databases, additional MLOps platforms (Kubeflow, MLflow) and advanced academic degrees in computer science, AI or a related field.
