About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Lake Administrator to join our global technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining modern data lake architecture to support enterprise-scale business and analytics needs. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure performance, governance, and security at the highest standards

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade data lake architecture
• Monitor and optimize performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and security practices
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders on data integration and analytics initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ingestion, storage, and processing
• Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices
• Stay up to date with trends and innovations in data management and analytics

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Lake Administrator or in a similar data management role – must
• MS-SQL Administration – must
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Fabric – must
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure – must, AWS – advantage)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark
• Experience with Terraform – strong advantage
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala – advantage
• Experience in data governance and security practices – advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
