Full Stack Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of full-stack engineers while doing hands-on technical work.
• Set goals, plan, manage and mitigate risks, define tasks and manage timelines to execute a roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring your team.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams across the R&D organization.
• Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers.
• Our stack includes Python, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, SQS and Docker.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• 2+ years experience as a Full Stack Engineering Team Lead.
• Experience with a product engineering team supporting production customer-facing features.
• Extensive professional experience with advanced JavaScript, CSS, and at least one modern UI framework (React, Vue.JS, Angular).
• Extensive professional experience with Python and both relational and non-relational DB (e.g. PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively nurture and support team members.
• Proficient in prioritization and resource trade-offs, ensuring optimal utilization for effective project management.
• Superb team-player while having strong capabilities to work independently.
• Experience in building distributed and scalable systems - an advantage.
• Experience with writing UI automated tests - an advantage.
