Security Researcher

An Israeli startup in real-time cloud infrastructure protection, developing a platform that secures cloud environments using operational data, typically held by internal operations teams, and making it easily accessible and contextual for security teams.

The system leverages runtime data to protect client cloud infrastructure, enabling organizations to reduce unnecessary alerts by up to 90%, identify security threats ten times faster, and respond automatically in real time.

The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv, with a hybrid model of two work-from-home days per week, employs nearly 120 people in Israel, and has raised close to $100M. The company is currently experiencing significant growth.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, conducting defensive research, and collaborating with clients. The position is approximately 70–80% focused on research and the remainder on coding in C++ and Python. The technology stack includes Kubernetes, eBPF, and APIs.

Requirements-

• +3 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in cloud environments.
• Military background experience, University Degree, or Ex-CNAPP.
• Proficiency in Cyber Security, Posture management, and familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
• Proven ability to research complex security topics: Kubernetes, eBPF, runtime-based security, AI/ML-driven anomaly detection, and threat modeling.
• Demonstrated customer-first approach, committed to exceeding expectations and simplifying processes to enhance overall customer success.
