Economist - Position no. 1140

A leading global public company developing and providing advanced solutions in the fields of homeland security, infrastructure, and communications is seeking an experienced Economist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing forecasts and annual budgets for company projects.
• Ongoing monitoring and control of budget vs. actual performance.
• Managing and overseeing project budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager, including presenting data to senior management.
• Leading economic projects and processes within the ERP system, including developing tools and monitoring reports.
• Managing integration processes and interfaces between the budgeting platform and ERP/HR systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Accounting / Business Administration – mandatory.
• Experience in budgeting and financial control.
• Knowledge and experience with Priority ERP system – an advantage.
• Full proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting practices – significant advantage.
• High ability for independent learning.
• Strong analytical skills, data collection, analysis, and monitoring capabilities.
• Assertive, proactive, and detail-oriented.
