One of the Best high tech companies is looking for a Backend software engineer!

Duration: 3 - 12 Months

Hybrid, Tel Aviv

As a temporary software engineer, you will contribute to projects that directly impact millions of users. You will work closely with product teams and other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Work with data, and collaborate with data scientists.
• Perform code reviews, present and share knowledge with the team.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design and implement scalable and robust applications.
• Analysis of functional requirements & creation of software design.

Tech Stack: The tech stack used is Java / GCP. Backend software development experience typically includes Java. Experience with technologies such as Tomcat, Jetty, NginX, Node.js, Jersey, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL may be relevant.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent (BA / B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent)
• 0-2 years of experience as a software engineer
• 0-2 years of experience as backend engineer, writing Java code
• Software development experience
• Advanced knowledge in Object-Oriented Design and programming concepts
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• English- Native level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Strong object-oriented, database design and SQL skills.
• Experience building cloud (SaaS) applications (advantage).
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies (advantage).
