EMC & Safety Engineer

🌟 We’re Hiring – EMC & Safety Engineer (E&S)

We are looking for an EMC & Safety Engineer to join our R&D department and take part in the development and sustainment of advanced medical devices.

In this role, you will be a key player ensuring compliance with international Safety & EMC standards, collaborating with external testing labs and regulatory agencies, and guiding design teams to meet regulatory requirements.

• Act as the Safety & EMC gatekeeper for medical devices throughout development and sustain phases.
• Coordinate and monitor product submissions and testing at SII and external labs (local & abroad).
• Participate in design reviews and provide guidance to R&D teams on compliance requirements.
• Investigate Safety and EMI/RFI issues, perform root cause analysis, and define corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation and update records according to procedures.
• Provide regular status reports on Safety & EMC activities.
• Stay up to date with evolving medical device regulations and standards.

✔️ B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution – Must

✔️ 2+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary medical device company – Must

✔️ Proven experience with medical regulatory standards & certification (IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2, UL, CSA, etc.)

✔️ Ability to read, interpret, and consolidate regulatory standards into technical requirements

✔️ Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, data acquisition systems)

✔️ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical design for EMI & Safety

✔️ Excellent communication skills in Hebrew & English (written and spoken)

✔️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
