Associate Principal

Viola Credit is looking for an experienced Associate/Principal to join our Risk Team!

What you’ll do:

• Conduct detailed financial, business, and risk analysis of potential investments in tech companies.
• Perform credit due diligence, including assessment of company financials, growth prospects, and industry dynamics.
• Build and maintain financial models, perform scenario analyses, and conduct stress testing.
• Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of innovative credit transactions.
• Monitor portfolio companies, provide ongoing risk assessments, and flag potential challenges.
• Prepare clear and concise investment materials for the investment committee.
• Collaborate with different teams across Viola Credit.
• Work closely with portfolio companies and partners.

What we’re looking for:

• Associate level: 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, investment banking,

private credit, venture debt, or financial consulting.

• Principal level: 5–10 years of experience with a proven track record in credit investing, risk analysis, or structured finance.
• Strong knowledge of credit markets, venture lending, and financing structures.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial and global environment.
• Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar) preferred but not required.
