Role Description:

• Lead, manage, maintain, and operate a wide range of cybersecurity products, including FW, WAF, IPS/IDS, EDR/XDR, PAM, PKI, DLP, Reverse Proxy, Antivirus.
• Full responsibility for configuration, installation, and operation of advanced security systems in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as hybrid infrastructures.
• Manage users, permissions, endpoints, and infrastructures (Microsoft / Linux).
• Monitor systems, investigate security incidents, and provide both initial and in-depth response depending on the type of attack.
• Work with SIEM, Sandbox, and monitoring/management tools (Trend Micro, Resec, Opswat).
• Oversee and manage external vendors in the information security domain.
• Implement work processes, policies, and procedures according to international standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27799) and regulatory requirements (including privacy legislation).
• Participate in cross-organizational project teams, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role in medium/large organizations.
• At least 3 years of experience in cloud security (AWS / GCP / Azure), with deep understanding of cloud security architecture.
• Proven hands-on experience with leading security solutions (Check Point FW, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, Reverse Proxy).
• Strong background in cloud security defense and managing cloud security solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in cyber incident investigation, threat detection, and attack analysis.
• High self-learning ability, responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong service orientation.
• Advantage: experience with compliance management systems, knowledge of information security and privacy regulations.
• Advantage: relevant military technology background (e.g., 8200, Mamram, ICT units).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering – mandatory (or equivalent relevant military training).
