System Administrator Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and motivated System Infrastructure Team Leader to lead and mentor our system team. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership skills, including planning, execution, and building long-term IT strategies.

• Lead and manage the system team, including setting goals, building annual work plans, mentoring, and professional development.
• Define and execute the organization’s IT infrastructure strategy (short- and long-term).
• Plan and implement yearly and multi-year work plans with clear KPIs and success metrics.
• Lead complex infrastructure projects end-to-end, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Manage and maintain virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN).
• Manage enterprise storage systems.
• Work with public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), including hybrid and migration projects.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, stability, performance, and compliance with organizational SLAs.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Networking, Development, and Support teams.
• Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and improving existing processes.

• 4+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure / system administration.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams or managing employees – must.
• Proven experience in planning and executing IT strategies and annual work plans.
• Strong expertise in VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN).
• Hands-on and proven experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) – must.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Storage systems (NetApp, Dell/EMC, HPE, Pure, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD – advantage.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.

• Experience with backup & restore technologies (Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault).
• Linux knowledge.
• Relevant certifications: VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, MCSE.
