We are seeking a Data Architect with AWS expertise for a temporary position to lead the design and implementation of modern data solutions in the cloud. This is a hands-on role working closely with BI, development, and DevOps teams, focused on transitioning from traditional BI systems to scalable cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design data architectures on AWS: Data Lakes, Warehouses, and ETL pipelines
- Work with core AWS data services: S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB
- Lead migration from legacy BI systems to cloud-based solutions
- Implement data infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Collaborate with BI teams to optimize data accessibility, performance, and security
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and governance standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Architect in AWS environments
- Strong background in traditional BI domains (DWH, ETL, Reporting)
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services – required
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code – a plus
- AWS certification – strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and lead end-to-end technical initiatives
