This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data architectures (Data Lakes & Warehouses).
• Develop and optimize ETL & streaming pipelines (DBT, Spark/Flink/Kafka).
• Model and structure data for efficient storage, retrieval, and processing.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality.
• Scale cloud-based big data infrastructures on AWS/GCP.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Python experience, or a strong background in Java (5+ years) with at least 3 years of Python.
• Experience in Building data lakes, including ingestion and transformation (DBT)
• Data Warehousing & ETL Pipelines
• SQL & Advanced Query Optimization
• Experience in data formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC)
• Experience in streaming (Spark Streaming, Flink, Kafka Streams, Beam, etc.)
• Experience in NoSQL and data storage (e.g. Elastic, Redis, MongoDB, CouchBase, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Experience in messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
