Data Engineer

An Israeli cybersecurity company in the Automotive sector is developing advanced solutions to prevent remote attacks and takeovers of all types of connected vehicles, including autonomous and electric cars. Their solutions include in-vehicle technologies, monitoring systems, vulnerability detection within the vehicle, in control centers, and in the cloud.

Founded 10 years ago, the company holds contracts with dozens of car manufacturers worldwide, with project volumes in the tens of millions of euros. Over the coming years, their systems will be installed in approximately 65 million vehicles.

Headquartered in central Israel, a 5-minute walk from the train, the company has around 200 employees and operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week.

Role Overview-

The role involves working in a small team of 2, developing primarily in Scala with some Node.js and TypeScript. The environment includes Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience in large scale, distributed server side, backend development
• 3 years of experience developing using Scala
• Extensive experience in stream & batch big data pipeline processing using Apache Spark
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in working with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP)
