Utron is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the company’s global procurement strategy. In this role you will be responsible for driving supplier negotiations, managing procurement operations, and partnering closely with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Duties And Responsibilities

Full ownership of the procurement function, from defining the strategy to managing day-to-day sourcing and supply activities.
Leading complex negotiations with suppliers in Israel and worldwide, and closing long-term strategic agreements.
Driving major sourcing initiatives to improve quality, ensure availability, and optimize costs.
Managing the procurement team (buyers) and overseeing departmental operations.
Implementing control tools, monitoring procurement KPIs, and approving purchase orders.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Procurement Manager in global technology companies – must.
Proven experience in high-level negotiations with international stakeholders and strong commercial acumen in closing large-scale deals.
Familiarity with international trade processes.
Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in multidisciplinary industries – must.
Strong technical/engineering understanding, including reading electromechanical drawing.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Procurement/Supply Chain.
Excellent English – both written and verbal – must.
