Software Engineering Team Lead

A successful startup company developing the next generation of electric propulsion systems based on advanced control algorithms in the automotive industry.

The role involves managing and leading two development teams (an RT team and a Control team), a total of around 15 developers. It includes being hands-on in the design, development, testing, and integration of firmware for both current and future company products, working in an Agile methodology.

The position requires close collaboration with R&D teams across multiple disciplines, including System Level, Electronics, Mechanics, and Hardware.

The company is located in Ness Ziona, near the train station, with approximately 100 employees.

Requirements:

● BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

● 12+ years of experience in bare-metal development in C.

● 5+ years of experience in a managerial role.

● Hands-on experience with ARM architecture.

● Expertise in embedded system hardware peripheral blocks and communication protocols including GPIO, ADC, DMA, UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN Bus.

● Experience using Logic Analyzer / Oscilloscope for debugging.

● Strong knowledge of interrupt handling, bootloaders, flash operations, and peripheral programming.
