We're currently seeking a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join our high-performing, remote-first team for long term project.

What We’re Looking For:

1. An independent contractor

2. Based in Israel

3. Able to start immediately or within 7 days

4. Comfortable working Sunday to Thursday, 9:00-18:00

5. Fluent in spoken and written English

6. Equipped with a working mic and camera

7. Willing to share code samples, GitHub repos, or portfolio projects

Your Role

You’ll work closely with our senior devs and CTO, building and maintaining robust web applications using:

PHP & Laravel

Linux

jQuery

Docker

CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback and quality control

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, writes elegant and efficient code, and thrives in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Professional requirements:

·        7-8+ years of Linux experience

·        Strong command of PHP & Laravel frameworks, (7-8 year)

·        Hands-on with jQuery

·        Familiar with Docker environments

·        Proactive problem-solver with a passion for clean code

·        Can work independently and meet deadlines without micromanagement

Screening Questions (Mandatory)

Please include answers to the following in your application:

1. Share your coding samples (no links to finished websites — actual code repositories/projects preferred). - A sample/snippet would be fine if you can't share the full code due signed NDA's
2. What’s your experience with DevOps practices?
3. How comfortable are you with complete system monitoring?
4. Any hands-on experience with MySQL replication management?
5. Have you run or maintained Ansible scripts before?
6. Skilled in optimising app performance - code & db using profiling tools.  You need to send us an example of the optimisation you did: How was the performance issue detected? Which tools were used? What was the solution?
7. Define your salary expectations.
