Data Science Team Leader

A leading high-tech company in the Online sector has developed smart comparison platforms that help millions of users make accurate decisions, focusing primarily on the U.S. B2C market.

The company is based in Tel Aviv (near the train), employs 400 people, offers a hybrid model with two days working from home, and combines a culture of innovation with great work-life balance.

Role overview-

• Part of the Data Science team at the forefront of development.
• Full responsibility for Research to Production.
• Manage a team of 2 employees and report to the Director.
• 70% hands-on work, solving complex Machine Learning problems.
• End-to-end involvement: diagnose business problems process and analyze data train models deploy in production continuously improve via A/B Testing and statistical tools.
• Daily development in Python and working with SQL.
• Use of key libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Work with technologies such as Machine Learning, A/B Testing, AWS, Production Pipelines, LLM, Embeddings, RAG, VectorDB, and more.
• Core Technologies: Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Machine Learning, A/B Testing, AWS, Production Pipelines, LLM, Embeddings, RAG, VectorDB, and more.

Requirements-

• 3+ years of experience leading Machine Learning teams.
• Master’s degree or higher (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field).
• Strong knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and Machine Learning algorithms.
• Solid experience in Python and developing production-grade systems.
