VP R&D

An AD-Tech company specializing in personalized online content, delivering tailored results to users through various measurement methods.

Located in Tel Aviv, near the train line, with two days working from home.

Role Overview

• Manage a team of 5 developers (including one Team Lead), with potential to expand the team.
• Remain 50% hands-on in development.
• Work with a tech stack that includes JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and full-stack frameworks.
• Develop in Big Data and Cloud environments.
• Company is open to different programming languages.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (VP R&D, CTO, Director of Engineering).
• Proven experience building and leading teams in Ad-Tech, real-time bidding (RTB), or programmatic advertising (strongly preferred).
• Strong track record of delivering large-scale, high-performance systems.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern full-stack frameworks.
• Expertise in scalable architecture, cloud infrastructure, and big-data environments.
• Familiarity with tools and practices for real-time decision-making and performance optimization.
• Ability to align technical initiatives with business goals while being a hands-on leader.
