About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, operational VP Finance to own the finance function end-to-end and build something amazing. We have the required infrastructure and now we need someone to think outside the box and support our next stage of growth & scale. This role requires a leader with experience in asset backed securities/lending, banking or fintech, proven ability to navigate complex revenue streams and flows, and the creativity to build and design processes. You’ll be a close partner to our CEO (with finance background) and an integral member of the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function, including accounting, compliance, payroll, treasury, and reporting.
• Work closely with the CEO on strategic processes- funding, debt financing, securitization, secondary markets.
• Build and implement financial infrastructure, systems, and processes for scalability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform business decisions.
• Manage cash flow, capital structure, and investor reporting.
• Track and analyze KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant U.S. financial regulations.
• Work cross-functionally to design solutions for non-standard and complex transaction flows.
• Act as project manager for key finance-related initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of finance experience, including senior operational leadership.
• Background in asset backed securities/lending, banking or fintech,
• Skilled in building finance functions from the ground up.
• Strong analytical skills and KPI-driven mindset.
• Highly creative and able to problem-solve in fast environments.
• Resilient, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Strong project management skills.
