Backend team lead

A cybersecurity startup specializing in Cloud Application Security, helping organizations accelerate software development while automatically reducing associated risks.

The platform combines three core technologies: building an inventory of all applications and code components within the organization, understanding developer knowledge, and identifying critical code changes along with their business risk.

The company has raised $100M from three of the world’s largest and most renowned venture funds and is currently post-Round B. Headquartered in Tel Aviv near the train line, it offers employees two days per week working from home and employs 120 people.

The role: managing a development team of 5 engineers, reporting to the VP R&D. The position includes 50% hands-on work, developing Backend systems in .NET Core, conducting code reviews, and researching new features. Candidates can come from Java, Scala, or Kotlin backgrounds even without prior C# experience.

Tech stack: C#, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, ASPM.

Requirements:

• 5 years of Backend development experience
• 3 years of team management experience
• Hands-on experience with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Previous experience in a startup (highly desirable)
• Full-Stack developers with a strong Backend orientation are welcome
