Job Description

To provide high-quality instruction in Islamic Studies to students, focusing on the principles, values, and teachings of Islam. The teacher will enhance students' understanding of their faith, promote moral and ethical values, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role is essential for empowering students with the knowledge and spiritual foundation necessary for their personal and academic development.

Major Responsibilities

• Conduct Islamic Studies classes according to the ASTA project curriculum at designated locations.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for Islamic education.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality education that meets organizational standards.
• Distribute educational materials and resources to students in a timely manner.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages open discussions about Islamic values and teachings.
• Maintain regular communication with the provincial coordinator and report any concerns or challenges.
• Monitor and maintain student attendance, homework, and assignments.
• Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and projects related to Islamic Studies.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to facilitate student growth and understanding of their faith.
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years as an Islamic Studies teacher, preferably with adolescents.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic teachings, history, and values.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  
  

Ability to inspire and motivate students to deepen their understanding of Islam, especially marginalized and disabled students.
