Job Description – DevOps Engineer at a Leading Communications Company

Responsibilities:

• Systems Management & Maintenance: Daily work with a variety of DevOps tools, including Grafana, Linux-based operating systems, and multiple databases (mainly SQL).
• Production Environments: Maintain critical production environments, troubleshoot and resolve incidents in real-time, ensure system uptime, and monitor performance continuously.
• Automation & Innovation: Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and scripts to streamline processes, reduce deployment times, and minimize human error.
• Performance Optimization: Improve and optimize existing infrastructure, implement system upgrades, and adopt new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to provide technical support and drive end-to-end solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices, security controls, and organizational policies to ensure compliance and data protection.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer – mandatory.
• Strong Linux expertise – advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, and system administration skills.
• Database experience – significant hands-on work with SQL and various database systems.
• Scripting skills – proven experience in writing automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Production operations – ability to work under pressure, resolve critical issues quickly, and ensure business continuity.

Advantages:
