OS SW Team Lead

I’m hiring for a company developing advanced security solutions, and we’re looking for an R&D Team Lead to head a talented group of engineers working on critical system components.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical excellence with people management, in a fast-paced environment tackling cutting-edge security challenges.

What you’ll do?

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 experienced software engineers.
• Own the full development lifecycle: research, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a multi-team R&D group.
• Define coding standards and best practices for C++ and Python in both user and kernel space.
• Design and maintain CI/CD processes for mission-critical components.
• Ensure code quality, robust reviews, and clear documentation.
• Work with external partners and customers when needed.

What we’re looking for?

• 2+ years of experience leading R&D teams (technical + personal).
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C++ (STL, multithreading, design patterns).
• Proven experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Windows internals (user/kernel mode).
• Background in developing low-level system components or endpoint agents.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Docker (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar).
• Ability to independently drive features end-to-end with high standards for code quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity products or client-side software.
• Background in reverse engineering or cyber research.
• Experience developing Windows kernel drivers.
• Familiarity with distributed systems or large-scale cloud projects.
• Background in elite technology units (e.g., 8200) or strong ties to the Israeli cyber community.
