Senior DevOps Engineer

Join Papaya Global as a Senior DevOps Engineer and shape our cloud infrastructure strategy as we scale. You'll lead critical initiatives across our development lifecycle while working with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

You will:

• Design and implement Papaya Global’s cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments on AWS.
• Ensure our production environment maintains the highest standards of stability, availability, and performance.
• Review the current automation strategy partnering with stakeholders to implement a holistic, scalable solution that supports our multi-year growth trajectory
• Work with the Information Security team to improve security, enhance data isolation, access controls and network/application security across our infrastructure.
  
  

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• 4+ years of experience with AWS
• Production experience with K8S and Microservices
• Hands-on experience with Github Actions for CI/CD piplines
• Proven experience with Terraform & Terragrunt for IAC
• Experience with GitOps workflows and tools
• Strong AWS networking knowledge: VPCs, subnets, security groups, and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain custom GitHub Actions using JavaScript/Node.js
• Track record of successful cross-team collaboration on company-wide initiatives (automation, security, migrations, monitoring)
• Experience implementing and maintaining secure AWS environments
• Experience implementing and maintaining secure AWS environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
• Experience leveraging AI tools for DevOps automation and optimization
• Large-scale cloud environment experience (multi-region, high-availability)
• Previous experience in FinTech or financial services
