A Software Sources Licensing Purchasing Manager establishes relationships and engages with worldwide software companies. Purchasing our licenses is a very important and crucial task for our company’s success and this position has a very central role in our workplace. This position includes overseeing technology spending, managing a repository of applications, and issuing requests for proposal. The Software Licensing Manager will also define and facilitate communication between the enterprise and its providers in order to deliver software and applications according to plan and within budget, and to ensure licensing compliance.

We are currently seeking our newest Software Licensing Purchasing Manager to join the team in Israel!

Purchasing Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Develops a purchasing strategy.
• Reviews and processes purchase orders.
• Maintains records of goods ordered and received.
• Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
• Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
• Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
• Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
• Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
• Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
• Keeps up with trends in procurement.
• Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent English and Hebrew is a must.

• 2-3 years’ experience as a purchasing manager or agent is preferred.
• Experience using procurement software and databases.
• Supervisory experience.
